SoonerCare (Oklahoma Medicaid) is a joint health coverage program funded by both the federal and state government. This program helps to pay some or all of the medical bills for those who qualify.

TEFRA

Tax Equity and Fiscal Responsiblity Act of 1982 (TEFRA) states the option to make SoonerCare benefits available to those who did not originally qualify and have a child with a physical or mental disability.
