What is Speech Language Pathology?

Speech Language Pathology is a specialized therapy system that focus’ on treating many communication and swallowing problems. Our Speech Language Pathologists specialize in helping children with problems including: speech sounds, language, literacy, social communication, voice, fluency, cognitive communication, feeding, and swallowing.

Getting started with Speech!

Step 1: Obtain an updated prescription for “Speech Therapy Treatment and Evaluation” from your child’s pediatrician.

Step 2: Email a copy of your child’s prescription to contact@kidschoicetherapy.org or fax it to 405-857-8489.

Step 3: Call us at 405-857-8280 to fill out the KidsChoice Intake Form. Once completed, our Patient Care Supervisor will work with you to schedule your child’s Speech Evaluation.

Other Services

ABA Therapy

Being the most prescribed therapy for children with autism, we use ABA to improve skill development, build fluency and communicative skills, and decrease problem behaviors for every child. We offer in-school and clinic-based services in Norman, Oklahoma.

Child Counseling

KidsChoice counselors steer towards having a ‘kid first’ approach, while providing experienced mental care including behavior therapy, cognitive therapy, and interpersonal psychotherapy, to children, teens, and adolescents.

Occupational Therapy

Our Occupational Therapy Team is fully devoted to helping children with autism and other mental disabilities, develop the skills they need to grow into functional, independent adults through individualized therapies that target cognitive skills, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, self-care tasks, and social skills.

Sensory Playground

The Sensory Playground is an inclusive play space designed to meet the physical, sensory, and socialization needs of individuals with autism or other mental disabilities and their families.
